Yes, Oracle Forms 10g will work with Windows Vista. What is the exact error you are getting? This sounds more like a Java issue than a Forms issue.

Or even just a browser issue. Probably IE showing a message regarding the self-signed certificate. Not Oracle's problem.

Hallo Craig and John,

I had got Windows Vista and now I have installed Windows7 but it still Shows the same message,
when i run the program then it Shows the error message in IE broswer the following error:

"Failed to validate certificate. The application will not be executed."
Name: Oracle.forms.engine.Main
Location: http//danjiv-pc:8889

and two Buttons, OK and More Inofrmation.

Can you please help me, how can i solve this Problem ?

I've already told you: this has nothing to do with Oracle. It's your problem. Or rather, your browser's Java plugin. You haven't even Googled the error, have you?

I've already told you. Twice. This is your browser: you have to tell it accept the certificate.

Internet Explorer 11 and Java 8 is not certified with Oracle Forms 10g so you can't use then. If you must support this browser version and Java version then you will need to upgrade to Oracle Forms 11g R2. Remember, Oracle Forms 10g 5+ years old and Oracle has stopped maintaining it so you can't expect it work properly with the latest browser or Java versions. The problem you are having is caused by the increased security model implemented in Java 8.

Keep in mind that the default installation or Forms 11g is configured for Java 1.6.0_12 so you will have to update the formsweb.cfg to reflect the version of Java you have installed.

Also, John's point is valid. With a self-signed certificate Java will complain so you have to accept the certificate when prompted (it's a checkbox on the notification).
