I'm trying to insert the expression
REGEXP_INSTR([Thickness Measurement Location].[TML ID], '-', 2, 1)
into the interval quantifier inside {curley brackets} in a REGEXP_REPLACE statement, but so far, have not been successful in getting this to work. None of the book examples I've found indicate that an expression can be used in an interval quantifier. Can someone tell me if this is permitted?

Thanks,
Dale

What is the input and what is the output?
Or what is the original value and the final one you want?
