oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.7.0 - 64bit Production

Hi,

i just got to work on forms 6i, and cannot find to which table is the text_item related to? I can see the column_name, but how to find the table name that this column belongs to. In toad, when i searched, there are 4 tables that has this column. Out of these 4 tables, which table is this column related to? In property palette also no table name, database item is Yes.

Thanks,
Reshma

items map to columns. Datablocks map to tables (or views, or occasionally other things). So what's the data source of the datablock?

Your reply is no where close to an answer to what CM suggested. If you got your issue reaolved then please post it for the sake of other folks searching this forum for a solution, else, please reply to what has been asked. It will ultimately help you. Isn't it?

In my opinion, there's nothing rkhatiwala should add to what Cookiemonster already said. He could repeat CM's words. Why? Because, anyone who knows just a little bit about Forms knows what to do (i.e. check datablock's data source). It is a table whose name is ... well, whatever it is. Doesn't really matter.
