I am trying to add a user using a shell script by this command

read -p "Enter username : ' username
useradd -g dba -G regusers -d /home/$username -m -s /bin/bash $username

Output:
useradd : Too few arguments.
Try 'useradd --help' or 'useradd --usage' for more information
