I have to save partial data entered on the web pl/sql screen where validation is done using javascript.

Currently person cannot proceed to next screen or save and exit until all the information is provided on the form.

It insert the record to the database only when Next button is pressed but did not do so when save button is pressed.

Form action is using onsubmit function.

Can anyone please help me to overcome this..

fix the code to do what you desire.
Problem & solution have NOTHING to do with Oracle database.
the root cause & fix reside completely within the application code.
