hi,

i am working with oracle 10g forms and reports 9i. I would like to know where i can download oracle forms and reports 10g 64 bit to be installed in windows 7 64 bit laptop with 8 gb ram. I am not able to install oracle devsuite forms and report 10g 32 bit in laptop. I was told that it needs oracle 10g 64 bit .

I tried it in www.oracle.com. it only gives this link for download
ds_windows_x86_101202_disk1 and disk2.zip. Not sure if this is 64 bit.

any help with providing me the link would be appreciated.

I don't have a link, but I can tell you what I use: I installed VirtualBox, installed MS Windows XP SP3 on it, and then installed Oracle Developer Suite. Works just fine.

sir,

i also did install virtual machine and installed forms and reports, but the system becomes very slow. i want to install forms and report 10g 64 bit itself .

is there a way out. else i will have to use virtual box only.

Saying that you have a "windows 7 64 bit laptop with 8 gb ram", what processor do you have? It should have at least 2 cores (otherwise, yes - it is about to crawl as a dead cow). If you can't use VirtualBox (or any other virtual machine), I'm afraid I can't help much, sorry.

That is far too enough to run a VirtualBox. If, as you said, "the system becomes very slow", maybe you didn't adjust VirtualBox settings properly.

1. unzip two zip file in different folder
2. find orapram file -> open oraparam file
3. find Windows=4.0,5.0,5.1,5.2
4. update Windows=4.0,5.0,5.1,5.2,6.0,6.1,6.2
5. save and exit
6. open instillation file from CD1
7.and install
