Hi dear its my lab and you can follow these steps
LAB : 4 CONVERT DATABASE (LINUX 64-BIT TO WINDOWS XP 32-BIT
1. Open source database for check current OS Version with sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
2. SQL> select * from v$transportable_platform order by 2;
3. SQL> Select platform_id,platform_name from v$database;
4. Shutdown immediate;
5. Startup mount;
6. Alter database open read only;
7. Set serveroutput on;
8. Declare
V_return Boolean;
Begin
V_return:=dbms_tdb.check_db('Microsoft Windows IA (32-bit)');
End;
/
9. PL/SQL procedure successfully completed. (Message is displayed when procedure created)
Declare
V_return Boolean;
Begin
V_return:=dbms_tdb.check_external;
End;
/
The following directories exists in the database: SYS.DATA_PUMP_DIR (message displayed)
10. PL/SQL procedure successfully completed. (Message displayed)
11. Rman target /
Convert database new database 'pms_loc' transport script '/home/oracle/pms_loc/transport.sql' db_file_name_convert '/d02/app/oracle/oradata/cagis' '/home/oracle/pms_loc/'
to platform 'Microsoft Windows IA (32-bit)';
Recovery manager complete
Exit
12. Sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
13. Create pfile ='/home/oracle/pms_loc/pms.ora' from spfile;
14. Copy '/home/oracle/pms_loc' to windows with winscp or ftp software
15. Make these directories
Cd $ORACLE_HOME
Mkdir admin
Cd admin
Mkdir pms_loc
Cd pms_loc
Mkdir adump bdump cdump udump
Cd $ORACLE_HOME
Mkdir flash_recovery_area
Mkdir oradata
Cd oradata
Mkdir pms_loc
Cp *.DBF files into windows oradata directory
For Control Files Entry you will need to open '/home/oracle/pms_loc/transport.sql' file
And modify all paths accordingly.
Sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
@transport.sql
Select count(*) from obj$ where status in (4,5,6);
/  count(*) 2862 Found
/  count(*) 2625 Found
/  count(*) 2625 Found
Select * from tab;
Enjoy this -----------------That's all
