Dear All

I have a problem and not sure where the logic is. I have detailed my problem below and would really appreciate if you can assist me at your spare time.

I am using Oracle Forms 6i. I have attached snapshot. Please take a look.

I have a form PROD0050.FMB. If you look at the attachment the same form acts as "Maintain Products" and "Query Products", where by under Maintain Screen i can update, but in the Query Screen, i shouldnt be able to update(just do query). I believe this logic has to be designed in my MenuMain. But couldnt find or understand how its designed. Can you shed some light as to how or where under MenuMain.mmb file i will be able see how this is maintained.

I don't use Developer 6i and have never had to create a MMB files, so this might be a blind shot: how do you call forms from a menu? If it uses CALL_FORM or NEW_FORM, both of these contain "query mode" parameter which can be QUERY_ONLY or NO_QUERY_ONLY (their names are self-explanatory; read more about them in Forms Help). Does this make any sense?
