Import discarded automatically after 65536 rows are inserted using SQL Developer. How to resolve this issue?

This has nothing to do with Oracle. All you need to do is upgrade your MS office to a latest version.

AFAIK, Excel 2010 can handle 1,048,576 rows.

@Michel Cadot

In an old version of MS Excel that was the limit.

Searching a little bit more, Excel 2010 Performance: Performance and Limit Improvements says this is part of "Big Grid" feature which needs the following:

Quote:
To use these new features, you must update your XLL functions. For more information, see Developing Excel 2010 XLLs. If you do not update your add-in functions, they will continue to work, but they will be unable to use the new features introduced in Excel 2007.

I do - he's using sql developer, wouldnt surprise me if a legacy limit exist(ed?). It's not the DB discarding rows, it'll be the automated import Smile
