Forms runtime quits when Alt key button is pressed [message #603728]

Hii...
whenever I pressed Alt key button at forms runtime it quits. Can anyone tell me why is this happening...

Is ALT key mapped to EXIT FORM, perhaps? Not very likely, but - if that's so, change it. Have a look at Mapping Functional Keys in Forms 6i OraFAQ Forum discussion.

well no, ALT key is not mapped to EXIT FORM. but I've created push button with label "E&xit" with coding exit_form so does it have to do something with this...

I don't know. Remove such a label (i.e. modify it to "Exit"), run the form, push the ALT button and see what happens.

this problem seems to be specific for the machine you are working on reinstall the forms and run the application again. Also you can try to disable ALT key by amending resource file in oracle terminal as described before also have you tried on some other machine Does it happen on all the machines or your machine only.

hii mughals_king i tried on another machine and its working fine so i guess there something wrong in my machine and have to reinstall software...
