Hi guys,

is ther any other way where i can use file open dialog box with out using web util in forms 10g.Because when I tried to configure it i'm having an error in signing of frmwebutil jar and jacob.jar i don't if it has somthing to do with the jacob version. I need the file open dialog box to upload data into a table i will be using txt io.

Thanks dude but it doesn't work i can't see any file in list box.

Dear how it is possible we have taken this great technique by Mr.Francois Degrelle
Oracle Certified Professionnal - Oracle ACE

my self is using same technique and it is 100% working in oracle forms10g just download these two FMB'S put get_file_name.fmb in c:\ or change path according to your requirement and run.

when I was in office earlier It didn't show the files and folder the operating system is win 7 but when I run now in windows xp it is working fine now.. does this mean that this doesn't work in win7? what changes should I do to make this work?

Dear i don't have windows 7 enviroment but i saw peoples are always facing problems with win7 enviroment by using oracle forms but i can't exactly say anything about windows 7 VS oracle forms. May be anyother member of this forum can answer wait sometime.

I think this Is the cause of the problem dir /ogn c:\*.* > c:\a.txt I tried this in windows 7 in command prompt it returned a message access denied.. is this related to permission?
