While conducting security audits of our databases, I noticed that the DBA role has three privileges I've never heard of, let alone used:

UNDER ANY TABLE
UNDER ANY TYPE
UNDER ANY VIEW

I can't find anything in the Oracle documentation or on Metalink about them. Does anyone here know what they might be for?

You didn't search very well.
UNDER ANY TYPE/VIEW is in GRANT page
UNDER is explained in CREATE VIEW/TYPE.
This only in SQL Reference Manual.

I should have said "something meaningful". There isn't a lot there. Thanks anyway.

UNDER ANY TABLE is missing. It is in DBA_SYS_PRIVS but it is not documented. But as far as I understand it, it is not used (yet?). I refer to Oracle bug #12980061.

I meant what is not meaningful in the documentation about the 2 other ones I mentioned.
I think UNDER ANY TABLE is there for compliance with the standard even if it is not used fot the moment.
