I am trying to find out how to store pictures into the long or BLOB datatype. I am new at things like this and would appreciate the help. Does a basic SQL statement work or does it have to be loaded another way? What code would I need to use? ANy help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

use LONG RAW(in oracle-7) and BLOB(in oracle-8).in developer2000 use image item to display picture and use "read_image_file/ write_image_file" function to read and write picture into database in dev2000.

cheers
