i want something like auto-text in forms 6i in list box if user is enter M then words related to M , Middle east, Michael, Mexico should appear and user will have the option to select from this three options , if he presses m and then e only mexico should appear.How i can achieve this.

Forms can not do that easily, I think that you need to include Java.

thanks littlefoot, i am new to java , i have no idea , can you refer me to some links or do i have understand the programming in Java, i have found website on learing java.http://www.functionx.com/java/index.htm.Kindly advice.

Sorry, I don't know Java either. Unless someone offers "true" help, search the Internet for "PJC" (Pluggable Java Component) and "Java Beans" (have a close look at Pluggable Java Components & Java Beans' library). Also, check what Francois Degrelle talks about on his blog.

I can't think of anything else, sorry.

thanks littlefoot, so basically i have to check for pluggin beans of java that are portable with Forms 6i and then start implementing the details.
