Just a blind shot: did you check whether C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\ is part of the PATH environment variable? If it is not, try to add it and see what happens.

If it doesn't help, try to add that path into FORMS_PATH (or what is it called, maybe FORMS60_PATH - can't tell for sure) in Windows Registry (although, that's rather stupid ... what does Acrobat Reader have to do with Forms path?).

Developer 2000? The client/server version from 13+ years ago? I guarantee that will not work with windows 7 or Windows 8. Forms 10g developer doesn't even work unless you have the latest patch.

Why do you have to call Acrobat Reader executable? Once it is installed on a client computer, it associates PDF files with it so you don't have to run Acrobat Reader and then open a PDF file in order to view it. No - you just double click the PDF file and here you go - it automagically opens!

Therefore, in a form, call the PDF file itself. Forget about Acrobat Reader's path.
