FRM-40202: Field must be entered.

Cause of Error

This behavior occurs when you try to move to another record, or to another field in the current record, but there is no data in a field that requires data input in the current record (either because you have not entered data in the field or because you have deleted data from that field).
Solution Summary

Enter the required data in the field.

Mughal

this message occurs when I press the enter-query button, not when filling data
How can I remove this message and allow users to enter their
query ?

have u solved your problem
otherwise
please upload your code or .fmb file

or try to do this
---------------Example------------

set block property Query Allowed to Yes
set item property Query Allowed of item_code and item_name to Yes

So if you press F7 then your form is in Enter Query mode.

Regards
Mughal
