I tried installing on Windows 2008R2 Datacenter edition, and dbca hangs at 2%

I've added ORACLE_BASE,ORACLE_HOSTNAME, TNS_ADMIN, and ORACLE_SID to my system path per other suggestions.

The tracelog for DBCA only shows a couple of errors regarding acfsutil failing (I didn't install grid), when it goes to check the target to see if it is ACFS, but properly sets the 'is ACFS' flag to false and moves on. the last lines of the dbca trace:

I'd really appreciate some help!

dbca does NOT require or expect ANY environmental variable to be SET or established.

Please consider to simply Read The Fine Manual; Installation Guide for proper & successful Oracle RDBMS installation.
