hi,

I have installed developer suite 10g. Before that forms6i was already there, but after developer suite installation I am not able to open the forms6i, the application we use to work with forms6i is not responding now.

Did you install Developer 10g into a new Oracle Home (i.e. a directory different from the one that contains Forms 6i)? If not, you should have.

On the other hand, what does "not being able to open Forms 6i" exactly mean? What happens when you try?

Generally speaking, you should provide as many useful information as possible - that might help other people help you. Because, if we have to spend 3 days just in asking what you did is waste of time.

ya both the versions are in different home only, after I install developer 10g, the clent server application which is developed using forms6i is not working means the moment i open the login form and giving the username password and then pressing the login button the form is not responding. I mean to say any link given through button is not working, in the button call_form(:global.path || 'mastmenu.fmx') is this code given to call the form.

What does :global.path point to now? Did it change (meaning: points to a new, 10g directory instead of old, 6i)?

I'm not familiar with "win_api_environment"; a quick Google search suggests that it is part of D2KWUTIL so - maybe you should try to reinstall it?
