I have set my Web Browser Location in Oracle Forms Builder to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe?config=myForms
and am receiving the FRM-18126: Could not invoke the browser.

I have updated the registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER --> Software -->
Oracle --> Toolkit -->TKBrowser
C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\iexplore.exe

This is in WINDOWS7 .....

Any solution?
Thanks

I've seen people here saying that they successfully run Forms on Windows 7, even using different browsers. Search the board (I don't file like it now).

As of me - I have a virtual machine under Windows XP and run Forms there. As long as I don't have to move that piece of software to Windows 7, I'll stay on XP.

There is a way to get it to work. I am sorry, I am going to be unhelpful here too because I cannot find my notes on it right now, but there is a patch that you have to run to get 10.1.2.3 version of forms by running a separate install that comes with forms. you do NOT use the installer that came with 10.1.2.3.

Search here and oracle support and you'll find all the info.

[edit] ok, I found something, but not my complete notes. Look for Patch 10396165 on oracle support.

[edit again] phew, I found it. Search MOS for ID 1292919.1

Sorry, I don't know what "Search MOS for ID 1292919.1" is actually telling me to do.
What is MOS?

MOS is My Oracle Support (previously, it was called "Metalink"). ID Joy Division specified is a number of a document that describes the issue.
