Dear every body.
Do you have any solution for using function UPPER() for a column as long data type.
I got error when using it;
SELECT 
tst.LONG_DESC
FROM 
Test  tst
WHERE 
and upper(tst.LONG_DESC) like '%%' 

ERROR at line 6:
ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected NUMBER got LONG

I change type to CLOB and it worked.
