Using SQL Developer I am able to login using oracle credentials but I dont see any option for SQL Server. I see both Oracle and Access. Why I am not able to see the SQL Server option in SQL Developer tool? I need the SQL Server option because I want to transfer some tables from SQL Server database to Oracle database.

You need to add and configure the jTDS driver to get connectivity for SQL Server and Sybase.

Instructions here:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/migration/omwb-getstarted-093461.html#conf

It says to grab version 1.2, do it. If you get version 1.3 of the driver, it won't work.

Information about migration support in general can be found here
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/migration/index-084442.html

There's a dedicated page with examples, demos, etc for SQL Server migrations.
