Why do you need a button? What's wrong with the forms default update functionality?

You don't have to do anything to "make default update functionality". Both Cookiemonster and I told you what to do; how come you didn't follow these advices?

A non-editable item? Open its Property Palette and set its "Enabled" property to NO. Alternatively, you can modify "Insert Allowed" and "Update Allowed" properties.

Seriously, stop programming blindly. First read some documentation and save you (and us) from pain because - this isn't funny at all.

I will rephrase my question:
i want to change the type of item (text_item to display_text) using " set_item_property " in the trigger "when-new-form-instance "!!
it's possible ?

Consult that many documentation again; I believe it describes which parameters SET_ITEM_PROPERTY accepts.

Anyway, it is impossible to change item's type. However, its ENABLED property can be set to FALSE (with SET_ITEM_PROPERTY) which would have the same effect.

Have you actually looked at form builder online help at all?
Open form builder. Press F1 to bring up help.
Type set_item_property into the search box.
Select the topic that's displayed as a result.
Read.

It tells you exactly what it does with examples.
