dbca -silent -deleteDatabase -sourceDB TEST
ORA-00119: invalid specification for system parameter LOCAL_LISTENER
ORA-00132: syntax error or unresolved network name 'LISTENER_TEST'

also tried to start the same instance and i get these messages - i did not created these oracle instance just trying to remove it and recreating it

SQL> CREATE PFILE FROM SPFILE;
-- edit pfile & remove line containing "LOCAL_LISTENER" line
SQL> CREATE SPFILE FROM PFILE;
SQL> STARTUP

I copied the init.ora made my changes and worked - sorry im cleaning up others messes here

hi,
you first check your listener status go to port no u have given, if your database is have multi-listeners then check out which listener is being used change it to other
startup

hi,
I think you have to give ORACLE_SID
export oracle sid then connect to sqlplus.
