I have an easily accessible batch file that connects to Oracle with the following:
connect user/password

What can I do to hide the password?

Compile Windows .bat to .com, then remove the .bat

tie oracle login to O/S security.
See ops$... in the oracle admin documentation

Set your users with EXTERNAL AUTHENTICATION and then use:
c:>sqlplus / to connect

need to set pref. so password will have to be entered manually for username ange714 on this account. if possible would like to remove yahoo from this username or screen name also. (ange714) thank you, cbyrd
