Hello,
How can I call the dos2unix utility from Oracle ?

I'm building an external table in a procedure where each time the latter is called the file name(s) are different.
any ideas ?

Thank you

Why do you want to call dos2unix and what is the relation with an external table and the file name(s)?

Michel

with difficulty!
consider do so from the script that places the file onto the local OS file system.

Specify dos2unix in the PREPROCESSOR clause of your CREATE TABLE statement.

2 separate questions => 2 topics otherwise it is a mess.

And ALTER TABLE changes it as well for your table.
Database SQL Reference
