i want to know how can i create an empaty database in oracle 10g and what is the meaning of empaty database. basically i want to perform migration from one database to another database by using exp and imp.

please help me to create empaty database and migrate the database one palteform to another plateform by using the exp and imp.
i have oracle 10g (10.2.0.1.0) on both xp and linux.

"empaty"? Do you mean "empty"? I doubt you mean "empathy".

acutally i want to migrate two database from linux to windows and vice versa. can u sggesest me how can i perform it.any link plz. using oracle 10g (10.2.0.1.0) on both linux 5 and windows.
