Is it a "database" or a new "user" ("schema")?

I'm not a DBA, so - I can't assist myself. However:

Documentation (CREATE DATABASE syntax).
Manual Database Creation in Oracle 10g (step-by-step).
Youtube video (many more available on the same site).

Anyway, you could have found these by yourself, couldn't you?

Use the assistant "dbca" and follow the screens; if you know how to click, you can create a new database.

Did you at least read the links Littlefoot provided you?
Did you watch the video?
It is just basic; it should allow you to create a new database; if you can't do it followng the screen then forget about it, you can't do it anyway.

Michel

I didn't think your answer was for me (you started with "Littlefoot,") which does not prevent me from giving my opinion.
And I didn't got up late and I posted an answer before you today which means, giving our time lag, you got up late. Wink

Michel
