How to access a table defined in the MS SQL server 2000 from an Oracle 8i Database and similarly to access a table defined in Oracle 8i Database from MS SQL Server2000

for both the means u can use DTS that ships with MS SQL Server 2000 software.....
Through this u can convert from oracle to sql and sql to oracle..
