Hi All

i am not able to type arabic for a report in reports builder 6i but i am able to view arabic reports in my system.

my nls_lang setting is AMERICAN_AMERICA.AR8MSWIN1256
I changed this to ARABIC_UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.AR8MSWIN1256
when I copy paste an arabic text from an arabic report to the
report i want to work on then i am able to type in arabic.

kindly guide

also how to give shortcut of the report on the user's desktop
currently i ve placed the sample rdf file in a drive thts common to
my system as well as the user's sytem
how to provide a shortcut for the report on the user's desktop?

You can create Report Shortcut as follow.

C:\orant\BIN\RWRUN60.EXE  Userid=abc/xyz@Test C:\Irfan\po.rep
