Hi,
Need to find out what the maximum number of concurrent logins are over a period of 1 month. We need to do this as we may need to buy more licences.

Any ideas? I'm very much a part time DBA so please simple solutions Smile

Thanjs

Have a look at V$LICENSE.SESSIONS_HIGHWATER for the current instance and in alert.log for the history.

Thanks for the info regarding v$license. Where do I find the number of purchased licenses?

In SESSIONS_MAX column... if you set it using license_max_sessions, license_max_users parameters.
