Hi Expert,

When executing full DB backup, i'm getting ORA-19504. Please suggest. /PDF/AMDD_BACKUP is new folder with 777 permission.


RMAN> connect target

You need to create unique backupsets.
Use appropriate format options.

And I would rather use control file autobackup.

Thanks Mahesh,

i have missed %U into the format portion of the backup script in order to ensure a unique backup file name.

Anyhow, i was taking it as issue of NFS.
