Hi,

Can someone tell me why does this query not work

select versions_startscn, versions_endscn,  loc
from scott.dept;


it returns this :

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00904: "VERSIONS_ENDSCN": invalid identifier

It really helps if you read documentation before attempting to use some new features.
VERSIONS_* pseudocolumns are described in SQL Reference book, which is available with other Oracle documentation e.g. online on http://tahiti.oracle.com/
For 10gR2, they are documented here: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/pseudocolumns003.htm#i1009358

Indeed, i omissed to put

 SCN INTERVAL CLAUSE


So, my query should be the following :

select versions_startscn, versions_endscn,  loc
from scott.dept
VERSIONS BETWEEN SCN MINVALUE AND MAXVALUE;
