Embarassed

i m new to rman and i m confused about the rman where it will take the backup if no flashback area is configured ???...

plzz help frnd...

Platform and version specific default. Why not just do a backup, and find out?
As you become more familiar with Oracle, you will learn one golden rule: "when in doubt, try iy out." A simple test that takes a minute will save hours of speculation.
