Good morning everyone!
I'm new on 11g, due to my limit storage with mounted internal disk, so I think, may I can store archivelog in ASM without FRA? However, I did not find any document to verify.
May you guide to me something?

I've done, this is the first time I configure to store archivelog in ASM, so I've not any experience.
Since VOL in my storage which was raw device configuration as ASM is very big, but internal mounted point is small, then I must configure almost in ASM.
And, how do I verify exactly new archive log file in ASM correctly?
Example:
+DATA/ccbs/archivelog/ccbs1_2_1027_753668061.dbf
YES 17-09-2011 14:50:28
1
+DATA/ccbs/archivelog/ccbs1_1_1033_753668061.dbf
YES 17-09-2011 14:50:19
I've 2 new archive log file, so, in alert log, I can not see any error when switched log file command, but, how do I test these?
One more question, Mr Mahesh_Rajendran, can I configure to store RMAN's backup in ASM, and copy to Tape?. I want to have got at lease 2 backups, one in disk, one in tape.
