Hi all,

I want to drop some users which are no longer been used .What are the precautions
i need to take before i drop users? I have taken logical backup (Export) of users i want to drop.

Is there anything i missed out before i drop user?

Before droppping them and during say 2 weeks, lock the accounts and revoke all privileges granted on their objects.
If no one complains then you can drop them.

Just don't throw away the export before the next year-end-processing. We for example have a schema that is only used by the tax auditor once a year. Wink
