Guys,
Am trying to use xmldom object in PL/SQL to read an xml file and load the data into the table using DBMS_XMLDOM.XMLDOM object.

While try to load the xml file I got the error LPX-00200: Could not convert from encoding UTF-8 to UCS2.

The file has Portugese characters and the encoding format in which data extracted was ISO-8859-1 and xml file has the same encoding.. (The data has been extracted from DB2 db using the above encoding)

But for some reasons the procedure is failing to load..

Can somebody help how to over come this error using Oracle PL/SQL Procedure above. We are using Oracle 10g with UTF8 character set..

This being a production issue things are stalled.. can somebody help out with the error ASAP..

Thanks
Krishna
