Drill-down report from another Drill-down report [message #513503]

Hi everyone,

A drill-down report (B) is called from another drill-down report (A) which opens correctly, but when I close report (B) all reports including the master report are closed automatically.

Sorry, I never saw something like that.

Anyway: how do these reports close? Is there any error message (such as Windows' "We are sorry for the inconvenience" kind), or do they close smoothly (as if it is expected behaviour)? Is there any log file that, possibly, contains information of what has happened?

How exactly do you close a child report? Is it in a (tabbed?) web browser? If so, did you (or your user) close the whole browser (which would then close both child & master report's tabs)? The same goes for PDFs (Adobe Acrobat Reader).

Thank you very much for your kind reply.

a): Error "An un-handled win32 exception occurred in RWRBE60.exe [3620]". And all reports in queue are closed including Reports Background Engine.

b): No log file is available to trace error.

c): Reports are build in Oracle 6i Developer and are being called from reports runtime engine.

Did you install the latest patch for 6i?

Does that error occur on your computer only, or on any other computer too?
