Hi

Quote:
REP-0606: Unable to read link file '<filename>'. Check link file format

Cause: The file you specified in the Link File field of the Boilerplate property palette cannot be found or its format does not match that specified in the Format field.

Action: Ensure that you correctly specified the name of the file and that the value you entered in the Format field matches the format of the file.

I want to tackle Rep-0606 error programmatically as it happens.

i.e. i know that specified file is missing (image based) but how can i check my self at record level that the particular file is missing or not before executing the program to avoide the error.

(I tried Text_IO package but it gives the same error)

Any suggestion ?

You would need to use a formula colum to get the image and trap the error in the function.
