Currently we use oracle and timesten in same machine.
We want to use exadata as the db solution and we will use hp-ux 4 server os system is oracle linux.
In exadata we also have oracle linux.
if we use exadata, our application server and db server is separated.
In that case, where we have to install timesten memory db?
1. Exadata machine
2. HPUX1
3. HPUX2
4. HPUX3
5. HPUX4
do we have to install timesten server to exadata and client to HPUX 1 to 4?
or install timesten server to HPUX server 1 to 4?
Regards.

One concern is how exadata communicate with Timesten memory DB?
Is it by Timesten client in Exadata?
We add memory to exadata server because we think exadata memory is too low.
If we install timesten on application server, Do we have to add memory to all HPUX machine?
Our timesten size estimate is about 14G.
do we have to add each HPUX memory to install timesten on HPUX machine?
