hi,

i am asking abt how i store encrypt password in oracle table, there is any built in function available that when we enter password in a table that shuold be encrypted

Look at the built-in DBMS_OBFUSCATION toolkit.

DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT will help u in encrypting.Use RAW datatype to store the encrypted password
