FRM-40212 - Strange Issue in Modal screen [message #484622]

Hi All,

I am facing a strange issue in one of the standard oracle modal Window Screen.

Here, I have a LOV attached for a field X, There are following values in LOV : Price Adjustment,Discount Amount and others.

When I navigate to the Modal screen, and type Price Adjustment in the the Field X and tab out,it throws error : FRM-40212 : Invalid value for the field Adjustment Name

But If i click on the LOV, LOV window pops up and now I cancel it by clicking on 'Cancel' button and now tab out without modifying anything in the Field X, then values are populating and there is no error.?

Can you please let me know why this is happening ? I need to set the Initial value for the Field X as 'Price Adjustment'

Please help me out in this?
