Hi all,

can any one tel me please
what are the common errors occurs while taking backup of our database...backup timing is up to 4 to 5 hrs.

Errors during backups are prohibited & not allowed.
If/when errors occur during backup, DBA is terminated.
100% reliable backups are essential for business continuity.

ALWAYS
Post Operating System (OS) name & version for DB server system.
Post results of
SELECT * from v$version
or post Oracle version to 4 decimal places
