Hi All,

I have a procedure with 1000 lines, i want to find to find in which line the procedure raises an error at run time.

Suppose i ran that procedure it raised some error,i want to find in which line the error is raised.

Please help me.

1000 lines ..without proper exception handling ..dude you are lost.

you might want to work bit by putting some lines in exceptions and that is DBMS_UTILITY.FORMAT_ERROR_BACKTRACE

Just remove all WHEN OTHERS clause then you'll get the line where the error comes from.

You must remove ALL exception handling. Only then will it be obvious where the error occurred.
