Hi
I have installed asm lib and asm instance has started successfully and is working if i am using
EXPORT ORACLE_SID=+ASM
but if I am using DBCA after that to create database on ASM activated diskgroup I am having problem in creation of spfile. kindly sort out the problem. How to follow steps to create database using already installed /mounted diskgroup with DBCA.

Regards,
Ranbir Kaur

My car is having a problem & won't go.
Please tell me how to make my car go.

It would be helpful if you followed Posting Guidelines - http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/88153/0/

In the future please be more vague & nondescript to make solving your problem more challenging.

Additional clues can be found in log file.
Please find problem & fix it for successful operation.
