Hi..i want to create a database.How to i calculate the size of the database?Also, how much storage space is required by oracle datatypes(numeric, varchar2, date etc)?

Some datatype are fixed length (for instance DATE=7 bytes) other are variable length and depends on your data (for instance NUMBER or VARCHAR2).
