Dear all,

i m having full export .dmp file taken from oracle 10.2.0.1 Enterprise Edition.

i need to reinstall 10.2.0.1 standard edition and want to creat database using the dump file whitch is takem from the Enterprise edition.

what will be the issue? give me the steps please.

1/ You can't create a database with a dump file, you have to create a new database

2/ If you used some EE features like partition you will not be able to directly import. In this example you'll have to precreate the table.

Which steps?

1/ Create a new database
2/ Export current one
3/ Import into new one
