Hi,
I'm new here. First post actually so please be gentle with me. So my problem is:
I have a database with a table. One of the columns stores pictures as blobs. I want to write a script that copies each blob and saves it onto the systems hard-drive in a different folder for each blob (each folder with a different name. Not sure which would be wiser, doing an incremental random name for each or take the Firstname/Lastname column from database and name it that). I was told the best way to go around this would be using PL/SQL and so i started reading up on it. Can someone write a short script for this please? I've read and seen different examples but I'm still lost. If i can study a solution like this, I'd be one step up. I'd really appreciate help on this.

Thanks all.

So what do you need in addition to what the sites provided?
What could we post that is not in these sites?
What is missing?
