Hi,

I am creating a 10G database.While configuring init file i came across a parameter called utl_file_dir.

can any body help me out, on how to set this parameter as the articles i read on this,didnt help me to get a conclusion.

In 10g, do not set UTL_FILE_DIR and use Oracle DIRECTORY as recommanded in UTL_FILE package documentation.
