Just wanted to know that is it possible to direct-path insert serially if the parallel DML mode is enabled. If yes how?
alter session enable parallel dml;

Or we would have to disable the parallel dml mode before doing so?

Furter I have been searching the web for code examples of Direct-path inserts but found nothing. Please provide me with the links on the subject other than that oracle Direct-path documentation.

If you don't mention a parallelism clause then there is no parallelism; if want to be sure then add "PARALLEL 1" hint.
