Hi,

I just rebuilded a physical standby by restoring the db from tape. while applying half way, one of the drive corrupted and one of the tablespace impacted. So we take the online backup from production using begin/end backup. When apply the archive log file for standby is very slow, any idea why?

We performed a tracing and noticed below error in the udump on the recovery session, is it due the gap between the physical standby with the online backup we performed for the datafile?

Recovery is repairing media corrupt block 74992 of file 775

Hope someone could advise. Thanks.
